It has been said that the depths of one’s footprints in the sands of time depends upon the weight of the cross he carries. Jesus carried the heaviest cross of all and the influence of His Spirit is seen and felt in the 21st century…more widely than during the brief span of His earthly life. In a lesser degree, we see the footprints of ministers who have served the Lord, and their years of devoted service have made an imprint on our lives. I Love You Jesus Ministries, Inc. d/b/a/ Outreach of Excitement Church was founded by Dr. Mother Ruth E. Creps-Crockett.
The ministry began after the Lord spoke so forcefully to Mother Ruth in regards to Miami as a “Modern Sodom and Gomorrah.” Talking with her dear friend, Evangelist Regina Woolley (deceased), daily for several months, our founder would express her sentiments to her and they would pray together for God’s will for them here in Miami. They both felt strong about opening a church for all people where they could praise God in freedom.
In 1987, I Love You Jesus Ministries, Inc. was launched on WMBM-AM radio station, through the media of broadcasting and by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Many hundreds of people were recruited and their lives were changed by the power of Jesus...and they were healed in soul, mind & body. The radio ministry had a great spiritual impact on the city because prayer, praise and love were interjected into the broadcasts...and NO DISCRIMINATION DUE TO RACE, CREED OR COLOR, RICH OR POOR, PRESTIGOUS OR COMMON FOLK was shown. After consulting with God, Mother Ruth sought out to buy more time on the radio and the city was blessed with nine hours per night, five days a week for almost three years. After long months of hard work over the air, Mother Ruth sought to find a place where she could meet her listeners in person. Many called for counseling and for a service where they could meet face to face.
In June of the same year, the American Legion Hall on Biscayne and N.E. 64th Street was rented for Sunday afternoon and for a week’s revival. The Lord met our Founder and her followers in such a marvelous way that people were saved, delivered, and healed each night...the Holy Spirit was moving in that place. But one night, the Fire Marshall came to visit the church. The ministry started out with 47 people and in four weeks was running 200. The fire Marshall gave the ministry ten days to re-locate.
The Lord spoke to Mother Ruth while working in Militana, Militana & Militana Law office one day as she noticed a real estate book. In it, she located the building at 3300 N.W. 17 Avenue. After a lengthy discussion, and negotiations were made…Outreach of Excitement had found their new home. On September 22, 1987, our Founder organized a motorcade from Biscayne Blvd. to N.W. 17th Avenue and 33rd Street. Such a beautiful time to remember! We were in this sanctuary for over eighteen (18) years, and the Lord surely proved Himself with many miracles of salvation and healing. The Outreach of Excitement Ministry is dedicated to lending a helping hand to many who do not have families or friends who really care about them. We love God and God loves all people!
For many years we shared our facilities with gospel groups for concerts and from a heart of benevolence! Dwayne Ingram & The Ingram Singers, Avery Jones and Spirit of Life were very dear to Mother Ruth’s heart, along with Sean (deceased) and Derrick Baker. The musicians came from far and near to bless the ministry and to be blessed by the Spirit of Love that prevailed.
From 2005-2007, The Outreach of Excitement Church was located at the House of God Miracles Revival Fellowship Church at 4111 N.W. 17 Avenue. The church was under the leadership of Overseer J. Mortimer (deceased). In the summer of 2007, The Outreach of Excitement Church moved to a past location at 1085 N.W. 62nd Street.
On January 24, 2013 our beloved founder, Dr. Mother Ruth E. Creps-Crockett went home to be with the Lord. Her presence, love and rich legacy is still felt to this day.
On January 13, 2013, LaVanya C. Kelly became Executive Pastor of Outreach of Excitement Church and remained Executive Pastor until September 21, 2014.
Derrick Lavon Williams previously served as Pastor of Administration and continued leading the ministry until March of 2015 when he was selected by the fellowship to be interim pastor. He was officially installed as Senior Pastor on November 22, 2015, which would have been our founder’s 85th Birthday. This transitional process was facilitated by our beloved Bishop Lenwood T. Brooks of Greensboro, NC and a son of our Founder.
Today the ministry continues to uphold our mission to empower, inform and equip the people of God to live the abundant and victorious life that God predestined for them.

of Restoration with a loving environment,
where the Holy Spirit is free to operate.
Proclaim a message of deliverance
from the bondage and nares of life.
Empower the people of God through

Serve as a strategic platform to launch
bold and powerful people of God into

We are here to empower, inform and equip
the people of God to live the abundant
and victorious life that God predestined for them.
We want to impact future generations by teaching
the generation to become spiritual warriors
