I Love You Jesus Ministries (ILYJM) truly embraces the importance of Sunday School as the building blocks for both new and seasoned believers. We currently use quality Christian educational products provided by Urban Ministries Incorporated - Chicago, Illinois.
Our classes are divided by age groups and our teachers are meticulously assigned to bring out the best of each class. Each lesson engages participants with challenging questions and objectives in an open forum where questions and comments are encouraged as we “reason together” in the Word of God.

I Love You Jesus Ministries (ILYJM) Outreach of Excitement delivers on its name: We enjoy the livelihood and authenticity of traditional praise. From tambourines to shouts and praise breaks come prepared to dance and sing like David! Led by the fiery Senior Pastor Derrick L. Williams. “Come let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation” (Psalm 95:1)
Our Dance ministry, led by Sister Jessica Salmon, seeks to promote true Worship and Praise through dance, setting an atmosphere prepared for a Prophetic Move or Utterance from the Holy Spirit. Jessica uses her background in ballet and professional dancing to sharpen the choreography and lead those under her effectively.
Other Art forums include: Painting Classes, Art Crafts, Skits and Plays, Poems and Monologues. These are led by Adjutant Myown Salmon who uses his art and theater background to create original pieces for our Miracle Services, Member Activities, and Children Development.
From the outset of our ministry’s history, we have been concerned about the incarcerated: youth, men and women. We have a consistent track record of writing periodically to inmates whether their family is a member of the fellowship or not. We generally send quarterly scriptural readings whether articles or sometimes sermons that we are inspired to share. While some inmate parishioners are released and return to society, there are those who face life sentences and will never return home to their families and communities. Help us continue this cause by sending a tax deductible contribution to I Love You Jesus Ministries, Inc designated to Prison Ministry. Your contribution will support our ongoing goal of providing stamps, paper, and envelopes; care packages as outlined by Prison Canteen; Biblical tools (Study Bible, Dictionary, Concordances); periodic uniform and shoe replacements. You can also support our cause with Inmates Returning Home Project. While there are programs and services available for inmates, getting the immediate financial support and housing is not unless inmate is released to a Re-Entry Program. You can contact us for specific details on Inmates Returning Home Project. “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1 John 5:5
. Our Women’s Ministry aims to foster an environment that cultivates healing, encouragement, empowerment, and boldness through the Word for every woman. This ministry prioritizes helping women of all ages recover from past hurts and strongholds so that we may run the race God has set before us. We believe that it is the “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrew 12:1) that help each of us to stay the course and thus our objectives and goals are set to help each woman find their right role within our various ministries where they will be the most fruitful for God’s Kingdom.
From her home, the trucks of her vehicles, the foyer and patio of the church, Sis. Juanita supported, loved, clothed and fed people. She was truly a Servant Leader. Time will not allow us to name the countless people she has influenced, impacted and won to the Kingdom. In her earthly transition June 8, 2015, we wanted to honor her life’s work and continue the legacy of helping the voiceless, the poor, homeless, underserved, and the marginalized population in our community. Thus, we have the JUANITA E. SMITH COMPASSIONATE MINISTRY. Missionary Regina Hicks is the Servant Leader and continues to cultivate new and innovative partnerships with like organizations in the community to broaden and strengthen our impact.
The I Love You Jesus Ministries (ILYJM) Outreach K.I.D.S. / T.E.E.N.S. Ministry accepts the mission of redefining “Church Culture” with innovative ideas and approaches that allow for our diverse group of gifts, talents, voices and testimonies to declare God’s glory to the fullest! Our children are educated on the Word of God and guided in Its application. We believe we should “train a child in the way they should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
This group was developed by our founder, the late Dr. Mother Crockett with the urgency of gathering and promoting God’s men in the church. Today, we not only continue with that mission, but we ask, “Who said a ‘REAL MAN’ looks like you?” We are using this question downloaded by the Holy Spirit to Pastor Derrick in 2016 to really look at God’s original plan for MAN. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26.
We are systematically confronting who we say we are, who we represent in the earth, living a life worth imitating, and leaving legacy – a road map for our children, the community, and the world to follow. How are we accomplishing these concerns? Outreach King’s Men meet monthly where share concerns that men face day to day: living single, married, family, divorced, as a widower, employment, mental soberness, entrepreneurship, concerns of equity and equality within ourselves, the community and the world we live. We utilize other outings such as, conferences, bowling, fishing, and cycling that lend the opportunity to interact and genuinely learn one another in finding answers to the questions/concerns presented. “Who said a ‘REAL MAN’ looks like you?”
